At Deer Oaks EAP we realize that job loss can be devastating, and many newly unemployed individuals are left to cope with the emotional hardship of employee separation. We are staffed by people who care, listen and help. Our trained and experienced counselors will help you assess your situation and make a plan for dealing with it. We can help with making referrals to needed resources, local support groups, community organizations, legal consultations, and financial planners. Our trained counselors are available to employees and dependants in the weeks leading up to separation and for six (6) months from loss of job.

Our goal is to help you cope with the impact of job loss, and make you aware of all the resources and support that we have available to help you through the difficult process of separation. The following list represents a few of the general areas in which we can provide assistance.

All services offered through the Deer Oaks EAP are confidential and offered at no cost to the individual and to family members.

Most agencies and universities have contracted with Deer Oaks EAP for services; however, there are a few agency and universities that utilize other EAP services. Please contact the Human Resource office for confirmation of the appropriate EAP if you have any questions.
