Longevity Pay Longevity policy (includes chart with earnings)	Longevity Pay recognizes long-term service of employees who have worked at least 10 years with State government. The percentage increases as length of service increases (from 1.5% to 4.5%)
Promotional Priority Promotional Priority policy	Current state employees have a promotional priority over outside applicants when they apply for higher level jobs and possess substantially equal qualifications.
Service Awards Service Awards site	Service awards recognize State employees' total state service in increments of five years through retirement. The value of the award increases in proportion to tenure.
Employee Recognition Employee Recognition Site	There are several programs available to recognize State employees. These include: State Employees' Award for Excellence Excellence in State Government Employee Appreciation Week Service Awards Oliver Society Prize State Employee Memorial Program Richard Caswell Award State Employee Incentive Bonus Program (SEIBP)
Teleworking Telework site	This arrangement brings the work to the worker. Often it is not a full work week, but a few days where the employee can work without the interruptions of the office. Teleworking a few days each week has proven to increase productivity in many instances.
