800 More Rea$on$ to Enroll in the HCFSA (Posted 10/13/09)
Looking for a way to help ease your rising out-of-pocket health care expenses? Then you’ll want to enroll in the Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HCFSA) offered through NCFlex.
With the HCFSA, you decide how much money you want taken from your paycheck on a pre-tax basis, which reduces your taxable income. You’ll have access to all of your HCFSA dollars on January 1, 2010, to help pay for your prescription drug costs or doctor’s visits. When you incur an eligible expense, you can use your NCFlex Convenience Card to pay and the funds are automatically deducted from your HCFSA.
Does this sound too good to be true? Well, this year we are helping you take your HCFSA savings even further. Allowable contributions will be increased by $800 to an annual maximum of $5,000 in the 2010 plan year.
Want to take even greater advantage of your pre-tax savings? See your 2010 Benefits Guide for information on the Dependent Care FSA.
