Essentials of Web Design Certificate Program

Implementation Date: Fall 2003

The Professional Skills Program sponsors a certificate program in the Essentials of Web Design. This certificate will be awarded to students who complete 25 days of classes (1 & 2-day short courses) in the area of web design and development. Upon completion, students will have a well-rounded understanding of how web sites are created and maintained.

Below are the courses of study included in the Essentials of Web Design certificate. This form is intended to help you track the courses as you take them. Upon completion of a course use the "Completed" column to check off each course to see how close you are to earning the Essentials of Web Design certificate. For course substitution questions or challenging the Windows course, contact mary.payment@osp.nc.gov.

To be officially enrolled in the program, you will fill out a form to be kept on file at the center. As you complete each class, make sure to update this form so that we too may be able to track your progress. Placing you on this select list of students also puts you on an email list that will notify you each semester of upcoming Web classes or changes in our program. You may ask to be removed from the email list at anytime.

The prerequisite courses for this certificate is Microsoft Windows Level 1 or equivalent knowledge.
