Description: This course explores the skills managers and supervisors need to effectively manage a diverse workforce. The point of view of the training is the African American male. The course content emphasizes ways to create constructive relationships with African American males. Participants will have the opportunity to practice the skills in a live demonstration.

Topics Include:

  • The impact of male gender role differences.
  • Skills to ensure inclusion of all employees in the workplace.
  • Key communication skills to enhance shared accountability.
  • How to communicate effectively across potential cultural barriers.
  • Developing greater cultural competence with diverse employees
