Target Audience: Managerial and Supervisory Staff

Description: Learn how to effectively handle each of the three phases of the performance management process – planning, managing, and appraising. This course places special emphasis on helping you become confident and skilled at handling the most challenging aspects of performance management: (1) Setting goals and devising practical ways to measure progress, (2) Helping your employees design and carry out individual development plans that build key competencies and enhance their ability to handle important aspects of their jobs, (3) Coaching your employees in ways that inspire both performance and individual growth, (4) Writing fair and accurate appraisals, and (5) Conducting the appraisal discussion.

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
